Hello, and welcome back to Ramblen around the World, I’m your host Jacob Dissmore
Today I’m going to be instructing you on how to do the perfect zombie make up.
This make up tutorial is a great to use if you are going to film a movie, dress up for Halloween, or just scare a friend.
Things you need: Liquid latex, Toilet paper, basic 5 color aging kit, white face cream
First thing is first, you have to wash the face of the person you are going to zombify, this makes sure that all extra oils are off so that way the makeup will stay on. Also you want to pin the persons hair back so it does not get in the way.
After you washed the face, apply a thick, but even layer of the liquid latex all over the face, try not to get it in the hair because it is a pain to get out, trust me, I know
Then wait 15 minutes for the latex to dry, if needed you can use a blow dryer on your subjects face.
Next you want to apply the toilet paper, for the old wrinkly skin effect. All you need to do is put the TP wherever you want old skin, then seal it to the subjects face with liquid latex.
So now you have the icky skin on your subjects face. Then you need to blend it together with the white face cream, just a light layer will do. Try not to use the fine tip brushes because they will just get all clumpy, normal paint brushes will do just fine.
Now, if you have any excess toilet paper that is sort of bubbling up on your subjects face, then just rip it open to make it look like there is a gash, or the skin is just rotting away. After you rip it open cover the inner skin with a dark red so it looks like blood.
Next thing you want to do is darken around the eyes and around the mouth. You want to use a black make up for this. For the eyes you want to go around the eyes and make your subject look like a raccoon, then for the mouth just exaggerate on the lines around the mouth.
Then when you are done darkening just start blending all of your colors together to make your zombie look just how you want them to look.
If you want to go for a very bloody look, you can always make some fake blood and have the subject gurgle it and spit it up on there chin and clothing, but that’s only if you want to do it.
